A lovely, quiet, convenient apartment

We loved this quiet hidden gem. Sabine, the owner made us very welcome on our arrival and showed us around and explained where local shops and markets were. This bijou apartment was ideal for the two of us celebrating my wife's 60th birthday. The nearest metro was a few minutes walk away and there are many great restaurants nearby in the vibrant locality. We were here only a short time and visited a few sights. We would love to return to continue with our love of this city.
Lovely second stay

Our second time in Sabine's apartment, very cosy and appreciate the new sofa and chair since our last visit! A very convenient base for exploring Paris with my husband and teenage daughters, this time visiting Musee l'Orangerie and Musee Cluny and Pere Lachaise, but all well known sights are within walking distance or a river ride or small metro trip! A lovely quiet location that leads out to a bustling cafe society! Thanks Sabine x

My sister and i travelled to Paris in late September and stayed for 9 nights. Sabines apartment was recommended to us by my daughter, who stayed there with her family last year - they too having been told of this fantastic place to stay by friends. Having now stayed ourselves, it is easy to see why each of us encourage people to get in touch with Sabine when holidaying in Paris. Sabine herself was very welcoming and helpful with local information. The apartment was clean and comfortable and in the best location to sightsee Paris. We had a wonderful time, and wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Paris again.

Paris at your doorstep

Initially, it's not easy to spot the entrance to this property, as it's gained through a classic double doored entrance of Rue Mazarine. Once in, Sabine gave us the run down of the apartment and took care to ensure our needs were catered for. The apartment is great. All you need to be self sufficient in a very expensive capital city. We especially appreciated the washing machine and cooking facilities. Fantastic! Our bed was good. No issues sleeping and our daughters bed in the living room was equally up to the task of taming our 6 year old. The location is superb. Really excellent. Close in to Metro and close enough to the Seine for walking if you're keen. Taxis had no issue locating us. Best of all it's off street, so there's a real sense of retreat once you enter the gallery doors and step into the courtyard. If there's one improvement I'd offer, there's limited space. We're in Europe for 5 weeks and our 2 heavy bags had nowhere to hide. We had to rearrange furniture a little to make it work. If you were traveling light,or a couple, you'd be fine. In summary? This apartment deserves its high ranking. We agree with the majority of posituve reviews on here. Location is amazing. The apartment is homely and pleasant too. We would definitely return. Thanks Sabine!
Sabine is super helpful, great location and good price!

This is a nice one bedroom apartment in a wonderful location in Paris. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, but this is still a quiet spot as it doesn't open up to the main street. Many of the things you'll want to do are within walking distance and a metro stop is about a block away. Sabine was very flexible with our family and we had three small kids staying with us in the apartment. It would be perfect for a couple or a family one or two kids. We made it work with three kids because it was a great location and a very good price. Sabine was super helpful and easy to work with. You will enjoy your stay in Paris here!

The Perfect Apartment

Sabine's apartment is ideal for two or three people. I spent almost four weeks there in May/June and loved every moment, it had everything I wanted and more. It is a very comfortable apartment, first floor with easy external access, overlooking a pretty courtyard and in a wonderful location. Just a couple of minutes walk to the vibrant Rue de Buci, a lively social scene with it's cafes, delis and street musicians, yet with all the activity, not a sound could be heard within the apartment. Dealing with Sabine is a pleasure. This is my Paris home on future visits.
We had a wonderful one weeks stay in this very comfortable and conveniently located apartment

My husband and I booked this apartment a year before travelling. Our criteria for booking an apartment was that we wanted it to be comfortable, well situated and reasonably priced, where we could enjoy 'a little Parisian' lifestyle for a week! We were not disappointed. This apartment met all our expectations plus! ... The apartment itself had a modern, well equipped and useful kitchen, comfortable lounge chairs where we could loll on after a busy day of sightseeing and a great footstool where we could rest those tired feet on! It had a good shower and that essential washing machine plus much more. It also had excellent security. A door code was required to unlock the heavy outside door on the street. Once unlocked this led to a little courtyard and a short flight of stairs to our apartment which had a dead lock. At night an outside light would come on automatically when you came home. We felt very safe here. The apartment was conveniently located to everything. We made the lovely café across the street our own! Just around the corner were a few restaurants, 'boulangerie' patisseries (which were very hard to pass by) and a couple of small and a large grocery store and ATM's nearby. It was such a great area to stay in, you would often hear someone playing music when you were walking around, the last three days of our stay a jazz band played in the street just around the corner. I'm home now on a chilly winters day remembering back to just over a week ago when we were sipping a coffee and listening to jazz in a Paris street! The interesting thing was that once inside the apartment you couldn't hear a thing, which was great because whenever we came home late at night the streets around us would still be 'buzzing' away and yet inside the apartment it was quiet. We could virtually walk to almost everything. But there is a lot to see and do here, after all we were in Paris- so the 2 metro stations each about 5 minutes away came in very handy, especially towards the end of our week when we decided to spend a little more time relaxing having a coffee and pastry and just absorbing the wonderful atmosphere all around us. But there was another reason why this apartment was wonderful, the owner Sabine. From our first enquiry to our last day when we headed home Sabine made our stay one to remember. Sabine has made this apartment feel 'warm' and friendly with her personal touches- the décor and comfortable furnishings, to the brochures, maps and other forms of reading material that can be essential to any traveller that she kept in the apartment, her helpful tips- local and otherwise and lastly her booking a taxi for us to the airport. Yes, we had a truly wonderful stay here.

This charming apartment is only a short walk from the Odeon Metro station and close to all the nightlife. Our friends had arrived earlier and met us at the Metro, then on to the apartment. The location is excellent, coffee shops and restaurants to suit any taste are virtually at the doorstep. We enjoyed the apartment, although a little bit 'squeezy for four', we had a comfortable stay. Security is good and the price was very reasonable. We can highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Paris. Warren & Pauline.
Excellent rental in a great, central location, with a wonderful host

We loved our stay at Sabine's rental apartment in St. Germain Des Pres. The apartment is in a great, central location, convenient to the Metro, RER, and walking distance to many museums, restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Sabine was a wonderful host, checking in with us before we arrived to make sure we had directions from the airport, and then met us at the apartment to show us where everything was and how the appliances worked, etc. She also has a great collection of maps, travel guides and pamphlets and helped us get a sense of what was available in the neighborhood. The apartment is very comfortable, with a galley kitchen, a nice bathroom, a washing machine, wifi, etc. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There were 4 of us, including two college-aged kids, and the space was perfect for us. I would highly recommend it!
